Hello to our True Team, our Clients, and our entire Ecosystem!
Amazing that True is now 20 Years Old! Twenty Years of Being True is something that we all share together… WOW and Thank You!
When we started this company in 2004, we didn’t start it with a goal of being around for a specified period, nor did we start the company with an exit plan in mind. We didn’t even start the company with a particular financial target in mind, and we still don’t have one.
No – we started True because we simply wanted to support our teams and our clients “the right way.” And it just so happened that we all had worked together in different technology and training companies, and we had a very specific, if not stubborn, idea of what it meant to be True in this industry.
Anyone who has been around True often hears a common statement, “True has always had a charmed existence.” Any start-up that hits their 20-year anniversary has had good amount of good fortune bestowed on them to some degree. But True is really the product of great people, great clients, and great karma. We have countless stories about great things happening to True, our teams, and our client partners. We have a firm belief that it is all the result of always being fair, honest, and hard working.
Twenty years ago, True’s Founding Partners had this crazy idea to take on the big dogs–at the time, the Big 12 consulting firms. We believed that if we provided good and honest work, it would be rewarded. And, we believed that if we were kind and respected one another and gave back to our communities, we would attract the right kind of people—people with character. True’s 20th Anniversary could never have been realized if it weren’t for this incredible group of leaders and team members who were just as crazy, stubborn, and idealistic as the Founders. They are amazing stewards of our shared vision.
True is often asked, especially recently, what our greatest accomplishment has been. We’re fortunate to have accomplished a great deal: from global portfolios of projects and programs, to being asked by global industry leaders to help them drive transformative initiatives, from team members and offices across the country and now in Europe, to developing careers and providing opportunities for our teams, all the while positively impacting the community at large in which we live. All are significant, amazing, and charmed, and miraculous since we started this company in our basements and garages!
But among True’s many accomplishments, witnessing the common focus of our teams and our clients working together with shared resolve to do things the right way with honesty and integrity has been by far our greatest accomplishment without exception.
So, as we head into our 20th year and beyond, it is with tremendous humility and appreciation that True’s Founding Partners would like to thank all those who have brought us this far and who are helping us continue to do things the right way for the infinite future.
Congratulations and Thank You to our True Team for 20 amazing years… so far! And Thank You for all those Client & Ecosystem partners who chose to work with us and helped make this all possible!
