Dan Vitacco

Senior Vice President, Training and Performance

Dan has over 20 years of experience in the IT and training fields. Dan leverages strategic thinking, internal and external relationships, and cutting-edge technology to bring about transformational change and solutions. He is the penultimate servant leader and has successfully managed teams to achieve tremendous successes throughout his career.

Dan began his career as a consultant implementing worldwide Supply Chain solutions. Dan went on to work full time at a top MRO company for over 10 years where he developed and implemented one of the largest shipping installations for over 500 locations across North America. While there, he moved on to lead the team that implemented and supported the IT infrastructure and applications at all North American distribution centers. After that, he went on to work for a software development company that specialized in shipping solutions. There he led the Professional Services team for software development and delivery.

Dan started his tenure at True in June 2013, leading and implementing IT and data-driven solutions for one of True’s Fortune 100 clients. He was asked to oversee the Training and Performance area of the business in 2018 and has spent the last couple of years building their award-winning Training and Delivery Team. This team currently supports top tier global pharmaceutical companies in the Training and Delivery space.

In his leadership role at True, Dan inspires higher performance across his teams and organization by his thoughtful, measured approach to creating solutions. He leads by example and takes an active role in team success and individual development.

Dan is an active member of the community where he serves on the Bloomingdale Planning and Zoning Committee as well as the Bloomingdale Septemberfest Committee. Dan earned his B.S in Operations Management Information Systems (OMIS) from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb IL and currently is working on his Masters in Information Systems from Northern Illinois University. He lives in Bloomingdale with his wife (Kelly) and younger daughter. Dan’s older daughter and son-in-law live in the Chicagoland area and have made him the proud grandfather of two boys.
